Kangitoto baa, nut proceeded by the usual route round the Northern Ports, but, after proceeding as far as Lyttelton turned about and retraced her course to the Bluff, which she left early yesterday morning for Ilokitika. She will probably arrive there to-night, and will be tendered here on Sunday, when she will be despatched witli passengers for Melbourne and Sydney. The p. s. Persevere returned from Ilokitika yesterday afternoon, und is expected to leave again for that port early this morning. The 8.8. Gotheuburg is announced to leave for Melbourne direct positively this day. The 8.8. Kennedy arrived in the river on \ esterday nfternoon'a tide from Nelson, but last from Hokitika, where she suffered a day's detention owing to the heavy weather prevailing, and tne impassable state of the bar on Thursday. She left Nelson on tho evening of Saturday, the 4th iust, and ran across to Motueka to load produce. Left on Sunday at noon with a good breeds from the westward, but on arriving at the Sandspit it came on to blow a gale from the 8. W., which compelled her to run tn Separation Point for shelter. Left a;;ain o:i Monday, and arrived j at Weatport at 11 a. in. on Tuesday, where she landed 25 tons of cargo and 20 passengers, leaving again at midnight, and I arriving at Hokitika on Wednesday. There ahe was detained until yesterday at noou, when she left, and arrived here as above. The Mary Stewart, from Melbourne, has met with quick dispatch this trip. She was only towed in on Tuesday forenoon, but notwithstanding the inclement weather the whole of her caigo was got out in tlrat-rutc order by Thursday afternoon. Yesterday forenoon she was towed over to the C'obden wharf to take in a cargo of coal, and aim will betaken to sea by the p.s. Dispatch this forenoon. Tho Leonidas has finished discharging, and was employed yesterday taking in ballast. She is cleared at the Customs for Newcastle, for which port Eho will prqbably Bail to-day. s
