Ball and blue flag, half-mast—-Half-flood, wait for tide ; when the bar may safely be attempted at half-flood tho red flag will be at niiurt-head. :i Ball upon lower-mast cap with white nag—- Ebb tide, bar dangerous. 4. No signal-Do not attempt to take the bar. 5; Ann pointing to the right hand entering from seaward — More to the South. 6. Arm pointing to the left hand entering from seaward— More to the North. 7. The beacon Kaiing a pole with a red Ibg jijifi the liagfctaff in one leads over the bar.
