Several prominent members of the Hi-r bernian Society of Toronto, Canada, have )>een arrested by the authorities, who claim to have discovered papers of a treasonable character among the records of the society. The Irish Canadian (newspaper) has been suppressed, and its editor, Mr Patrick Doyle, arrested. Special constables have been placed on duty to guard public buildings at Ottawa.
