The liquidators of the Western Bank of Scotland have issued their report, showing the state of affairs on the Ist of February last, and the progress which has BeenT made in winding up to that date. From this it appears that the estimated surplus assets, after making the seventh return of L 7 10s. per share, amount t0L52,288 115. The assets and-calls still to be realized are valued at £32,446 165.11 d., but the re-, covery will probably extend over a considerable length of time, as some of the claims arc the subject of litigation.
