(To the Editor of the Orey River Argus.) Sot — I wish to make it publicly known that last Saturday evening, when I was returning from Greymouth, and after getting within sight of my present home (the Junction of the Little Grey), at about 6 o'clock— no later, as it was not dark — I cooeyed for at least two hours, to attract the attention of the ferryman. 1 could hear a tremendous row going on ; but every person on the opposite Bide seemed to be so intent on watching the performance of Madam, and the ferryman, that I was at length forced to turn back to the Totara Flat, a distance of four miles, and sleep for the night at Mr Savage's. As this is a grievance to every intending wayfarer up these parts, if you give these few lines publicity you will much oblige. I am, &c, Whmam Dabg«n\ Little Grey Junction, May 7, 1868.
