DESTRUCTION OF FOOTPATHS.
(To the Editor of the Grey River Argus.) Sir — Your columns often pourtray the frightful state of Gresson street, but I wish now to draw attention to the similar fate that -will fall on the footpaths if horsemen are allowed to use them as they are now doing. When I am walking home to dinner (I live down below) I generally make my appearance with my face and clothes all bespattered with mud from scampering horsemen, and all this occurs opposite the Camp and under the very noses of its officials. No wonder, on my return tonight from tea having had a second, and from the same cause, visitation of the native earth, that I write you. I am, &c, O.Z. Thursday night.
