Market value scarcely altered, and not affected in any important respect by last home advices.. Sugars have been selling, and closing rates for yellow and white crystals are very firm. Teas also improving. Provisions not generally in requpst, but nams inquired for at Is 4d. The market fqr breadstuffs has a little activity, bui; particulars of any operations of magnitude have been withheld. Quotations still made at 7s 9d to 8s for provincial wheats, and LI 9 10s for town made flour. A sale of new Chilian repqrted as made at L 22, terms. Oats dull : 2s 9d current for moderate parcels, but no inclination to spc ca)a.tive transactions at that or a lower figure.
