The Compaivy's Steamers leave Sydney on the Ist, and Wellington on the Bth of each month ; are due at Panama on the sth or 6th of the following month, and will form regular connection there as follows : — FOR SOUTHAMPTON : 1 Leave COLON on Oth or 7th ; arriving at SOUTHAMPTON 29th of each month. FOR SAN FRAN CiSCO : Leave PANAMA on 9th ; arriving at SAN FRANCISCO 22nd of each month. FOR NEW YORK : Leave COLON 12th or 13th; arriving at NEW YORK 20th or 21st of each month. Passengers booked from all this Company's agencies, at through rates, to Jamaica, St. Thomas, Havana, Trinidad, Vera Cruz, and Demerara. First-clas3 passengers are allowed 3361b5. , or 20 cubic feet for luggage ; second class, 1681b5., or 15 cubic feet, which must be delivered at the Company's office twenty-four hours before the departure of the steamer, when it will be labelled, manifested, weighed or measured. All excess to be paid for as measurement goods, without primage. The branch steamer AIREDALE will leave Greymouth on FRIDAY, Ist MAY, to connect with the Mataura, at Wellington ; but to prevent the chance of disappointment couseqnent upon the uncertainty of being able to cross the bar at any specified time, passengers for the Panama Mail Ship have the option of proceeding to Wellington by any of the Company's branch steamers. Intending passengers are hereby informed that the Royal Mail Company have determined upon running their steamers direct from Aspinwall to Southampton, and vice versa, thereby entirely avoiding the West ludia Islands, and the transhipment which calling at them involved. Passengers en route for Maryborough, or the newly-discovered gold fields of Cleveland Bay, are reminded that the steamers of the A.S.N. Co. leave Sydney for those places at short intervals. Hence intending passengers will find it to their advantage to proceed direct to Sydney. The p. s. Persevere will convey passengers on board at 11 a. in., free of charge.
