The branch steamer AIREDALE will leave Greymouth on FRIDAY, Ist MAY, to connect with the Mataura, at Wellington ; but to prevent the chance of disappointment consequent upon the uncertainty of being able to cross the bar at any specified time, passengers for the Panama Mail Ship have the, option of proceeding to Wellington by any of the Company's branch steamers. Intending passengers are hereby informed that the Royal Mail Company have determined upon running their steamers direct from Aspinwall to Southampton, and vice versa, thereby entirely avoidiug the West India Islands, and the transhipment which calling Jit them involved.
