Smuggling in Auckland.— On January 25tb, a yaiht named the Lizard was seized by the Customs authorities at Auckland, and a man nauie.il Wi'e, belonging to her, waa fined £100 for smuggling a quantity of wines and spirits. The Customs authorities have now in their possession three vessels, the Ringdove, Ringleader, and Lizard, the latter being one of tic fastest sailing boats iti the coAsting fleet of Auckland. AH three vessels arc now anchored off the Breakwater in Auckland harbor. The Nelson, H.M.C.S S., under the command of Captain B. B. Payne, R.N., which has been looked for during the Ist day or two, has turned up. The intelligence of her app •; ri) cc off this coast was tiansmitted yesterday morning from Belfast, by the master of the schooner Prospering, who sighted the Nelson off Cnrdie's Inlet', and, in accordance with the desire of Captain Payne, telegraphed the news from Belfast yesterday morning.
