DuNKiuN.-TheDrtjfy Times of the 27th ult. reports as follows : — The business of the past week has been rather slack, improvement in the weather not having been accompanied by any greater briskness in trade. At present the demand for coastwise requirements is light, and owing to a scarcity of carriage, comparativelj' few goods .ore going forward \a the interior. Markets, however, preserve a firm tone, and, in general, rather more satisfactory prices are realising for all imports. Town brands of flour are quoted at £17, and country brands at LlO 10s ; but there is nothing doing except for current wants, and parcels of any size can scarcely be moved at these figures. Oats are firm, at 3s; some fair sized parcels changing hands at that figure. Transactions have been going forward in sugars, which maintain their value ; of fine descriptions the stock is not large, and is in few hands. Teas have had but little attention, and buyers will no doubt curtail their transactions as much as possible until the. two cargoes of new congous, cloge at hand, have been received Very little has been done in spirits, beyond small parcels for immediate wants. I$ rail( lies, rums, genevas, and whiskies, are all firm at last given rated. Alalt liquors have been extremely dull ; there have been literally no transactions in bulk ales, nor will be till tie new brew comes forward. Bottled ales and stouts maintain full prices. By the Catherina, from New York, the stock of kerosene has been augmented ; holders are firm at 3s 3d, but sales of any magnitude have not been reported. Malt .and hops, without change.
