Garforth and Harris v. Joseph Kilgour, treasurer of the Greymouth Race Stewards. This was a claim for LSO, being the amount of stakes alleged to have been wrongfully handed over by the treasurer to Mr J. Paul, owner of Mocking Bird, whereas, as alleged by the plaintiffs, their horse Kohler was the rightful winner. His Worship decided that as he was a party interested in the case, having been one of the stewards of the races, he had no jurisdiction. Hildebrand and Weber v. Thomas ~Dvew. Claim JjS4 &a 4ct.
