Ball and blue flag, half-mast— -Half , flood, wait for tide ; when the bar may safely be attempted at hatf -flood the ret} Hag will be at mast-head. 3. Ball ttpon lower-mast cap with whito Hag — Ebb tide, bar dangerous. 4. No signal — Do npt attempt to take the bar. 5. Arm pointing to the right hand entei? ing from, seaward — More to the south. 0. When more than one vessel is crossing the bar the foremost vessel will be piloted by the signals, the others following in her wake. 9.
