C E . .-.I By virtue of the Provisions of the Weights and Measures Ordinance, 1846, and the Weights and Measures Ordinance Amendment Act, 1861, Notice is hereby giventhat all weights and all measures, for the purpose of sale or any other commercial transaction, excepting glass vessels, earthenware vessels, and casks, must be forthwith taken to the. Weights and Mersures Office, Mawhera Quay, Greymouth, and there tested and stamped. And after the second day of November next, any person who shall use for purposes of trade or commerce, or who shall have in his or her possession any weights or measures, which shall not have been tested and stamped, will be liable to the penalties imposed by the Ordinance.
