Waikato, Upper District ) Waikato, Middle District \ 583,000 acres Waikato, Lower District ) ■ ■ The lands open for selection at- a fixed price under the above notice are divided into three ctosses according to relative value, viz. : — 43,000 acres of Ist class at 15s per acre 216,000 acres of 2nd „ 10s „ 324,000 acres (inclusive of 153,000 acres of swamps) of 3rd class, at 5s per acre. - Application may be made in writing at any time before Tuesday, the 12th 1 March, 1807. - All applications made prior to the 12th March, 18(57, will be treated as made at the sametimeandwill.be opened at 12 o'clock " at noon on that day. If- there b« only one applicant for any , piece of land such applicant will be deemed to be the purchaser. All land not applied for before the 12th i March will be open for -selection onany ; day , subsequent to the 12th March. i The first applicant will in such case be deemed the purchaser.
