THIRD DAY— WEDNESDAY 7 . The Greybiouth Handicap, pf 100 soys, open to all horses ; two miles and a cpAarter ; the second horse to have his full, entrance, jnoney returned. Nominations, with7only-2 soys, to be made on the night of general.entry. The weights will be made and declared previous to 9 .o'clock in the evening of the second day's v racing, so as to allow the Stewards full -^opportunity of rating the meiits of the horses by the previous two days' running. Acceptances, with. 8 soys, must be given to the Clerk of the Course previous to 11 o'clock the same evening. The Cobden Plate, of 30 soys, under tk same conditions as the Trial Stakes ; but the winner of that nice to carry 71bs penalty, and the second horse 31bs. The winner of the Local Plate to carry olbs penalty ; heats ; one mile and a quarter. Eutranee, 3 soys. The Ladies' Purse, of — soys, (presented by the ladies of Greymouth and Cobdeu) with a sweep of 5 soys each added ; open to all horses ; gentlemen riders ; welter weight for age ; one mile and a half. Each horse must qualify by being ridden, previous to the start, over a hurdle, in front of the Grand Stand. Hurdle Handicap of 50 soys, with a sweep of 5 soys each added ; the second horse to receive 710 soys from the stake. Nominations, with 2 soys entrance fee, to be made on the night of general entry. The weights will be made and declared on the second evening, as f*r the Greymouth Handicap ; acceptances, with the 5 soys sweep, also" at same timers for the Greymouth Handicap.
