Thep.s. Dispatch returned from her trip to Fox's on Tuesday, and brought back a few passengers. Yesterday morning she towed in the schooner Storm King, from Melbourne. The schooner Storm King left Melbourne on Monday, the 21st January. Had light S.E. winds and calms all the passage. Sighted fie West Coast on Tuesday, and anchored off the Grey the same evening. Was towed in by the Dispatch yesterday morning, The Alhambra, which arrived at Hokitika, on Tuesdaj', brought 130 passengers and 70 tons cargo. She left yesterday for Haast River. If anything were wanted to grove the good bar that we can boast of during the past few days, it will be found iv the fact that nearly every day this week small open boats have been over the bar. On Thursday the master of the schooner Jane, loaeled with timber, came in in the ship's boat, and landed in order to enquire the prices ruling. This was not satisfactory, and he returned to the ; vessel, intending to take her. on to Nelson, •\ve believe.— Westport Times, 2nd ins.t.
