(FROM. OUR OWN' CORRESPONDENT.) CniHSTCHUiicn, Wednesday, S.oo p.m. The .Jollie Ministry- were defeated last night on Wykle's want of confidence niotion by one vote. Mr Whall sejconded the motion. The Ministry resigned. . * The Council miet at 5 p.m. this afternoon. Mr Jollie stated that he had advised the Superintendent to send for the mover and seconder of tlie resolution. These gentlemen advised tlie Superintendent to send for Ifr. Stewart, ■who had consented to endeavour to form a coalition Ministry. The result lias not yet boon made public. Time was asked, and tlie House adjourned till to-morrow.
