Blood's stout, las to Kis ; Byass', J4s to J4s per dozen, are the ruling rates. Tennent's ale has a preference at paying prices. Oilmen's stores continue plentiful, without improvement in value. Butter continues to come forward freely, realising Is 3d to Is Od per Hi. Cheese is in better supply, and prices well maintained, several parcels of English having come to hand in excellent citnditisn. Mams and bacon arc ir.p:-e plentiful ; demand good, especially for the latter, Avliich has improved in A*alue. It is noticeable that, provisions of all kinds now coming forward are, as to quality, condition, audpacking, a great improvement on last year's shipments, and very suitable fcr this market. Potatoes have been placed at auction at LlO to LU 5s per ton. Oats, Californian, 5s % 2d ; for good samples of Taieri, Os 3d to (is Od per bushel is asked. Chaff is in fail-demand at Ll7 10s to LIS 10s per ton. The following prices have been realise;! by Mr G. \V.
