ADELAIDE

The Legislative Coxmcil has agreed to the resolutions proposed by the Government, recommending the abandonment of the Northern territory, and the refunding of the purchase gnomes. The general opinion is that the Government should survey the country before abandoning it. Mr Finniss has offered to survey it. A proposition has been made to hand it over to Queensland.
