The annual international volunteer match Has been won at the 'Edinburgh rifle meeting, by. the English ■20, <n &£ter a close contest, at the three distances — 200---500, and 600. yards, ?seven rounds each. The Scotch were ahead by 15 marks at the first distance, but behind at the second by 24, lost eventually by 12! The "total score of the English 26 was 20f0, and that of the Scotch 30, 1059; Last year's score was, Scoth, 104-7; English^ 1020. The .English 20 were loudly cheered. In the eventng theywere entertained to dinner by the Edinburgh Rifle Association.
