The " HaAvke's Bay Herald "of the loth inst says : — lnformation reached town last evening that. on Sunday, the Ist inst., a Native named Keremenetia, Avhen.iu'the vicimty of 'the spot where Mr Rich's body was found, came upon a shirt, trowsers, boots, and hat, which it is believed the lamented gentleman had on when last seen alive. They lay Avithih about forty yards of AA r here the body Avas found, and Avere on the banks of .the little creek that runs there, the trousers being -partly in, the Avater. No papers or anoney were found in the pockets. The articles are. now, in the possession of Mr S. B. Firth, storekeeper, Te Aute. ; -. " ,
