'-^~ . *4 In pursuance of the provisions of an Act ">\ of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The- Regulation of Elections Act, 1838," I, deorge Samuel Sale, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Town of Greymouth, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the seventh day of May, 1866, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council for the ( said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Warden's Court, Greymouth, on Thursday, the twenty-eight day of June, 1866; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on , i Fridaj r , the twenty-ninth day of June, 1860.
