The Age, of 2nd inst, contains the following • — "Messrs Fraser and Co. sold, to-day, property situated in Collins street east, adjoining the Bank of Victoria, The sale); .excited considerable, interest, and attracted^;very large and influential attendance, anS after a very large and influential attendance, i and after a spirited competition, the following lots were disposed of, ijamely :— Lot 1, 32 feet 10 inches to Collins street, 'USSfigGffoot; 2, 35 feet 5 inches to Collins Btteet, )'■ L2OO per foot ; 5 X 33feet to Flinders lane, j LI 10 per foot ; 6, 33 feet 6 inches to'FUriders/ lane, LIJO per 'foot, Allotments :2 i and 4! were passed in at L2OO per foot;- These had! respectively 27 feet 8 inches arid 36 feet iron- . tageto. Collins street, arid were subsequently disposed of privately, at L 205 per foot. ; Tho .depths of the allotments fronting- Colliiik' street .were. I^l f.eet, and those, frontuic Flinders lane were 142 i feet." ;■•
