On Dit — We hear that it is the intention of some enterprising gentleman to • arrange* for the disposal of a Million of Acres of Land in the Northern Island by Avay of Lottery. The first prize Avill be 100,000 acres. The land is to be valued at L 2 per acre ; and if tho negotiations Avhich Aye hear are pending between the gentleman to Avhom Aye have referred and the Auckland Government, are successful, , the attempt to dispose of the land so acquired Avill be made upon the continent of Europe.
