At Wiesbaden,- a few days back, Captain Vogler killed in a duel Lieutenant Baron de Marschall, aged only 20. The motive of the meeting was a dispute at the last court ball. Two journalists at Turin, M. Botta and M. Battero, have been fighting a duel ; the latter was shot dead. Tho cause of the quarrel was a 1 dispute concerning Signor Scialoja's budget. Of the deceased Presidents of the United States, Washington, Madison, Monroe, Harrison, Tyler, and Taylor were Episcopalians ; Jefferson, John Adams, and Jolm Quincy ) Adams were Unitarians ; Jackson, Polk, and Lincoln were Presbyterians ; Van Buren was of the Dutch Reformed Church. The surviving Presidents are Filmore, a Unitarian ; Pierce, a Trinitarian Congregationalist ; Buohanan, an Episcopalian ; and Jphrison, a Presbyteriau. A letter from.
