At Wiesbaden,- a few days back, Captain Vogler killed in a duel Lieutenant Baron de Marschall, aged only 20. The motive of the meeting was a dispute at the last court ball. Two journalists at Turin, M. Botta and M. Battero, have been fighting a duel ; the latter was shot dead. Tho cause of the quarrel was a 1 dispute concerning Signor Scialoja's budget. Of the deceased Presidents of the United States, Washington, Madison, Monroe, Harrison, Tyler, and Taylor were Episcopalians ; Jefferson, John Adams, and Jolm Quincy ) Adams were Unitarians ; Jackson, Polk, and Lincoln were Presbyterians ; Van Buren was of the Dutch Reformed Church. The surviving Presidents are Filmore, a Unitarian ; Pierce, a Trinitarian Congregationalist ; Buohanan, an Episcopalian ; and Jphrison, a Presbyteriau. A letter from. Copenhagen states that the betrothals of the Princess Dagmer and the new hereditary Grand Duke of Russia was to take place in the month of April, on the birthday of King Christian.
