The Sparrow Nuisance. —At the monthly meeting of the Sefton Farmers 1 Club held on Wednesday night Mr J. Stewart read a paper on “ Grubs/’ giving a very lucid description of the grub and its habits,! particularly insisting that the spider was its great enemy, and that the sparrow, by destroying the spider, was the cause of the great increase in the number ®f grubs.
