Captain Anderson resumes the-command of the Penguin, which has been re-commissioned after a •complete overhaul. BLUFF, December 29. The Eotomahana sails at 4 p.m. for Melbourne. Captain Underwood, of that vessel, proceeds to England in February to take the marine superintendency of the New Zealand Shipping Company s fleet, .and to superintend the building of three new fast steamers by Messrs Elder and Co., .each 4000 tons, for the New Zealand trade.
