The quality of these Bricks is far superior to any yet placed in the New Zealand Market, being perfectly square and smooth on the surface, will stand 50 per cent, more pressure thanany other made Brick, and can be cut true, will • only absorb 3ioz. of water in twelve hours' soaking, and does not penetrate more than half-inch into the interior of the brick, which leaves them sufficient suction to adhere firmly to either lime, mortar, or cement. Whereas the usual building brick, as supplied at present time, absorbs from 11 to 12oz. of water in the same time of soaking.
