SECOND ELEVEN ADDINGTON C.C. v SECOND ELEVEN LANCASTER PARK. This match was concluded on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the former by 25 runs, the scores being—Addington, 103 and G 3 ; Lancaster Park, 81 and CO. The principal scorers for the former were C. Seager 41, C. Lawrence 22, A. G. Ashby 20, W. Ogier 11, and their bowlers were W. Forsyth and H. Turner. For Lancaster Park —Hamilton 35, Bruce 10, and Francis 12 (not out) made the highest figures, while their bowlers were A. Cooper and Vallenge. MIDLAND SECOND ELEVEN v RANGIORA. A match between these clubs was played on Hagley Park on Saturday, and resulted in a victory for the countrymen, who won on the first innings by 15 runs. The following were the scores : —Midland, 03 and 120; Rangiora, 103. Homer, Bell, Lawrence, and Fairhurst were the principal scorers for the Midland, while Smith with 42, and Good with 31, distinguished themselves esxiecially for Rangiora. SANDRIDGE C.C. v? WALTHAM, C.C. A match was played on Saturday last between the S.C.C. and the W.C.C. on the grounds of the latter, resulting in the S. securing another victory by 14 runs. The playing was pretty fair all round. For the W.C.C., A. Andrews showed some very good bowling, as also did Donelly for the same Club. For the S.C.C., H. Forsyth showed best in batting, reaching IS. A Johnstone next with 11. In the bowling C. Gordon did by far the best, taking no less than seven wickets for the first innings and Gin the second. H. Forsyth and T. Wiltshire also bowled very well. T. Cain fielded remarkably well. The following are the scores : —Saudridge, Ist innings, 37°; second, 33; Waltham, Ist innings, 31; second 25.
