[[FROM OUR COEHESPOKDEST.] WELLINGTON, December 14.

A return just prepared, showing the immigration and emigration for November, ISB2, and for the eleven months of the current year, contains some interesting features. Tiie total arrivals)for the month, were 14SS, as against only 420 departures. In the respective ports the arrivals were— Eussell 4, Auckland 527, Wellington 102, Greymouth 13, Lyttelton 1'39, Timaru 6, Oamaru 1, Dunedin 171, Invercargill 521. Departures—Eussell 3, Auckland 201, Wellington 8, Lyttelton 2, Timaru 2, Dunedin 8, Invercargill 184. Taking the results for the eleven months, the net balance is 2896 in favor of the colony. The immigration to the various ports was as follows—Eussell 126, Auckland 3220, Gisborne 12, Wellington 824, Napier 60, Nelson 3, Greymouth 72, Hokitika 11, Lyttelton 712, Timaru 11, Oamaru 3, Dunedin 1703, Invercargill 2879. Emigration—Eussell 284, Auckland 1920. Gisborne 8, Wellington 999, Wanganui and Napier 82, Nelson 21, Greymouth 96, Hokitika 81, Lyttelton 293, Timaru 15, Oamarn 6, Dunedin 626, Invercargill 3308. During November, 40 Government immigrants arrived, and 596 in the eleven months ; also. 7 Chinese arrived in the colony in November, and 6 left, while in the eleven months 22 came and 141 went away, so tha Celestial invasion seems still far off.
