Passengers—Mrs Dillner, Miss Dillner, Masters Dillner (2). E. Wood, agent. Waitaki, s.s.,' 228 tons, Webster, for Timaru and Dunedin. Union Steamship Company, agents. The brig Fawn cleared for Rockhampton yesterday via Havelock, where she is to load 145,000 ft of timber. THE ANNE MAIN. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s chartered barque Anne Main arrived from Liverpool on Thursday night. It is her first visit to this port, her trade for some years past having been chiefly with South American ports. She is owned in Glasgow, where she was built, and is the property of Captain Main. Captain Popham, now in command, reports : —Left Liverpool August 20th, but strong adverse weather prevented him getting past Scilly until August 30th. The N.E. trades were taken at Maderia, and continued to 8 N. Crossed the Equator on September 28th, with S.E. trades, and carried them to 21 S. on October 6th. The Cape of Good Hope was passed October 28th, the meridian of Capo Leuwin on Nov. 20th, Tasmania Nov. 27th, and this coast sighted December 2nd. Light winds prevailed up the coast to arrival. The entry of the vessel’s cargo at the Customs was made to-day. _
