CROWN LANDS.
[FBOII OUR CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, November 30.
The Minister of Lands has had a return prepared of the lands in Otago surveyed and made ready to be placed in the market before the close of the current year. The return is just completed. It shows the following surveys already completed : 1. D.P.P., 102,900 acre 3, viz : —Vincent County, 11,600 acres; Maniatoto, 13,000 acres; Waikouaiti, 13,300 acres; Taieri, 47,000 acres ; Southland, 18,000 acres. 2. Agricultural, 47,450 acre 3, viz.:—Vinconb Oountv, 29,160 acres; Maniatoto, 8274 acres ; Taieri, 10,016.
The following surveys are to be completed by 31st December, 1832: —Maniatoto County, 60S0 acres ; Waikouaiti, 3000 acres; Taieri, 7000 acres. Total, 16,000 acres, all agricultural. Besides the above run 214, containing 22,000 acres, will be subdivided into 12 runs, which work is expected to be finished by the 31st of December.
