MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Rotorua (connecting with Ringarooma at Port Chalmers), at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train.
For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (via Brindisi), (specially addressed only), India, China, Japan, the Australian Colonies, &c., per express, to connect with Ringarooma, at 7 a.m. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., per Hawea, as follows : —Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m.; money orders, 3 p.m.; registered correspondence, 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be duo in London on January the 15th.
