AUCKLAND, November 21. The Rotorua, with the carbine champion and the Thames and Auckland representatives, az-rived at midnight. A dinner was held immediately afterwards. There is great dissatisfaction among the men at their treatment at Dunedin. A beautiful Aurora Australis was visible yesternight. WELLINGTON, Fovember2l.

At a meeting of the Executive Council this morning the case of Antonio G. Schell, recently found guilty and sentenced to death for a murder committed near Normauby, Taranaki, was considered, and it was decided to commute the sentence to penal servitude for life. The aurora was very brilliant last night. KAIKOURA, November 21.
