The deaths of persons not residents of boroughs occurring at hospitals have been excluded in all cases. The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 487 against 461 in September, being an increase of 2G. The deaths amounted to 181 in October, being an increase of 10 on the number for September. Of the above deaths, males contributed 101 ; femSles, 80.
