The attendance to-day was small, owing to counter attractions, but the weather was line. „ „„ Hurdle Race, of 50 sovs. Milo, Bst 121 b ... 1 Lady Perdita, 9st 121 b ... - Wild Boy, lOst 71b ... ... 3 Canard and Overdraft also ran. won by six lengths, the second and being close together. ' . The Soiling Hurdle Eace, of 20 sovs, w won by Mr Sutherland’s Guesswork. The Counties Handicap was won by Jack. . Flying Handicap, of 50 sovs. Hilda \ Whitbach. Miss King Filly 3 Won by two lengths. Gitana was left at the post, and could not make up the lost ground. Novel Handicap, of 40 sovs. Amy ... * Jack ■■■ - Florence 3 Amy won by three lengths. The amount that passed through, the totalisator during both days was X3G32. , ~ . A meeting of the Jockey Club was held in the evening to consider the running of Canard in the Hurdle Eace, and it was resolved that though the Club considered the running of Canard of a suspicious nature, there was not sufficient evidence before them to disqualify the horse or his rider.
