ADDINGTON CATTLE MARKET.
This Day". At the saloyards this morning the entry of fat sheep was hardly so good as usual in point of quality. The demand was fairly active for superior sorts, and prices ruled in advance of last sales. Merino mutton, "though in good supply, was comparatively "neglected. Mutton out of the wool may be quoted at an average of lid to 2d per lb. Store Sheep—Market fairly supplied with ewes and lambs, but business very inactive. Fat Lambs —A heavy supply, demand good, at prices ruling from 7s to 9s 9d. Pigs—A moderate entry only, with a corresponding inquiry. Fat Cattle—A small entry, and demand sufficient to clear all lots at prices fully sustaining late quotation, 25s to 27s Gd per hundred lbs. Store Cattle —But a slight entry, the market for which had not begun when our report left.
