Union Steamship Company, agents. The Union Company’s s.s. Hawea arrived on Saturday at 1 p.m. from Wellington, her passage having been delayed by bad weather for several hours. Captain Kennedy reported that between Pictou and Wellington the steamer made only thirty miles in nine hours, so hard was the S.B. gale. He considers that the weather was more severe on the coast last week than he had known it to he for many years. The Hawea left at night for Wellington.
