Sudden Death.—A woman named Ellen. Bennett, residing at a boarding-house in. St. Albans, fell down dead on Wednesday. Her body was conveyed to the morgue, Christchurch, and an inquest was held yesterday morning at the Clarendon Hotel before Dr. Coward, coroner, and a jury of whom Mr D. McLean was foreman. Evidence was taken, by which it appeared that the deceased was a widow, aged about thirty-five years, that she had been living at the place where she died only a few days, and that her death had not been caused by any extraordinary circumstance. DrSymes, who had made a ptist niorfentexamination, stated that death had been caused by pleurisy. A verdict was returned in accordance with the surgeon's cvideace-
