THIS old - established Hotel, which under the proprietorship of the late Bir George Oram and Mr A. W. Money was bo well and favorably known, has been thoroughly refurnished and renovated by its present proprietor. The Papanui tram service has brought it within two minutes' distance of Cathedral square. The accommodation for families and gentlemen is unsurpassed in the colony, and the old prestige attaching to the house in the past for the excellence of its Wines, Ales, Spirits, and liiquextrs is fully maintained. A spacious Billiard Eoom, fitted with one of Alcock's best tables, is to be found here, and gentlemen's business avocations need not prevent their returning to the mid-day meal, as the tram service practically places the Hotel in the City, whilst its contiguity to Hagley Park gives it all the advantages of a country residence.
