Sarah and Mary, and Cleopatra, from Lyttelton ; Gleaner, from Wellington; Murray, from Hokitika; Colonist, from Waitara; Anthons, from Wellington; Clorinda, from Auckland. Three vessels—the Cleopatra, Cora, and Gleaner —sailed in without waiting for the tug to tow them.
