Arrived —Barque Alexa, from Foo Chow, with a cargo of tea; Go-Ahead, from the South ; Omapero, from the South. Sailed —Hawea, for Picton and Nelson. The steamer Wakatn, belonging to the Patea Shipping Company, has been sold to a Kaikoura firm, which will trade her between Wellington, Kaikoura, and Lyttelton

Arrived —Energy, from Manukau ; Cora, from Yfollington; Mary Campbell. Sarah and Mary, and Cleopatra, from Lyttelton ; Gleaner, from Wellington; Murray, from Hokitika; Colonist, from Waitara; Anthons, from Wellington; Clorinda, from Auckland. Three vessels—the Cleopatra, Cora, and Gleaner —sailed in without waiting for the tug to tow them.
