IMPRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] DUNEDIN, November 2
The Auckland cricketers play their match against a team chosen by the association started this year called the Dunedin and Suburban, not by the O.tago Association. The principal players of this team will be C. Frith, Harris, Greenwood, Ivens, Parker, Holgato and Hayward. The names of Collinson, Spring, Cooke, Hose, Crawshaw, Cargill, Austin, Eattray, .fee. will be missed among the list, but these players all belong to the Otago Association. Every effort will be put iorth to make the stay of the Aucklanders an enjoyable one. An Eighteen, to begin practice for the match, will be at once selected. A letter received from the Aucklanders states that they are in good practice and confident of rendering 3k good account of themselves in this the opening match of their tour. AUCKLAND, November 2.
The committee chose the following as the team for the Southern cricketing tour: —Arneill, Borton, Blair, Buckland, Dufanr. Gill, Lanbham, Mumford, O’Brien, Robinson, Testro, and Yates. Emergencies—G. Gardener, Greeson, J. Wood, C. J. Browning, Bowden, H. McCormick, C. McCormick, R. Wynyard.
