Mails close at the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) : FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3.
For Kaikoura, per Tui, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, per Taiaroa, as follows :—Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m.; money orders, 3 p.m.; registered correspondence, 5 p.m.;_ guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on December ISth.
