NOVEMBEE SHOW. The entries for the forthcoming annual show on the 9th of November, so far as can be ascertained, are as follows: SHEEP. Shorthorns 07 Hereford, Devon, Alderney, Jersey, Ayrshire and milch cattle 31 Pat cattle 39 Total 137 HORSES. Draught horses ■ 52 Thoroughbred horses and reputed thoroughbreds ... 7 Carriage horses, hacks, &c. ... 50 Draught yearling fillies for the Oaks Sweepstakes 4 Total ... • 119 Pigs 45 Sheep dogs 13 Implements ' 313 Dairy produce ... 69 Cured and preserved meats ... 20 New Zealand manufactures and produce 109 Wool 1 Total ... _ 1200 These are the entries as at present classified, but some few more in all classes have yet to be opened. The numbers compare very favorably with those of any former year, when it is taken into consideration that the committee have excised the poultry classes, which, on account of their not i being in show condition at this season, is a .■justifiable proceeding.
