The Pleiades, the first wool ship of Messrs Shaw, Bavill and Co.’s line, commenced taking « her cargo to day. The brig Restless was loading timber at Nowcastle on the 13th inst. for Lyttelton. Attention of shippers is drawn to_ the movements of the Sorrento, which it will be seen loads at Lyttelton before goin r to Port Chalmers. ~ Captain Webster, formerly chief officer of the Wairarapa, takes command of the U.S.S.
