LONDON, October 17, The “ Times ” to-day states that unless the Egyptian Government agree to accord Arabi a fair trial, and allow him the services of English counsel, the British Government will demand that Arabi should bo handed over to the custody of the British authorities in Egypt. A portion of the cargo per Chimborazo, shipped at Melbourne, consisting of 1893 carcases of sheep, have been examined and found to be in excellent condition. The Sydney portion, numbering 2700 carcases, have not yet been opened up. CAPETOWN, October 16,
