Cattle and Grain Markets—Pat cattle were again in small supply at to-day’s market, and good competition from the trade resulted in the maintenance of the top values of last week. Bullocks fetched up to £l2 7s 6d per head; quotations for prime beef, 30a oer 100 lbs. Fat sheep—'lhe supply, thorn, h a full average one, was not more than sufficient for the trade demand, and prices were equal to the beat of last market. Crossbred sheep sold at from 13a 6d to 16s 9d, and merinoes 6s to 12s 6d. GrainWheat ; (prices continue nominally without much alteration from those of last report, without, however, any disposition on the part of millers to enter into transaction at holders’ limits. Fowl feed is readi'y saleable at from 2s 6d to 4s; medium may '.e quoted at 4s to 4s 3d; and prime milling, 4s 6d to 4s 9d. The report of the late rise in prices in Sydney has caused a few speculative enquiries, in consequence of which the market is firmer. Oats are in good demand at from 3s Id to 3s 2d, and good bright milling at up to 3a 3d, but discolored and musty are hard to move at anything near these prices. Barley is quoted at 5s for prime malting, which is saleable at this figure, but the demand is not very brisk.
