CHRISTCHURCH. Monday, Octobbb 2. ’ [Before J. Ollivier, R M ; G. L, Loo and E. Waetenra, J.P.’o.] DatTNKKNNBBS,—CoIin Urqhuart, for being drunk and behaving indecently, was fined £2. W. Aubrey, for drunkenness and offensive behaviour in a railway carriage, was fined £2. Robert Ewing and a man were fined 5s each. Vaobanot. —George Maslin was charged with having no lawful visible moans of support- Evidence was heard which went to show that the prisoner had been concerned in a robbery from the person, and ho was remanded to allow enquiries beirg made. Mlßobidanb*u3. — J. Hadfield and J. Dann were Sued £1 each for not keeping lights burning at night before their licensed houses.—Robert Carmichael, for not keeping a light oa a hoarding in Bedford Row, was fined 10s. —A charge of obstructing the road with his express waggon against William O’Connor was dismissed. A second charge was postponed till October 9th.—Joseph Gilbert, for using abusive language to Constable Kelly, was fined 10s. —H. Wright, for preventing another cabman from obtaining a fare, was fined 10s. W. Suvage was charged with exacting a greater cab fare than allowed by the by-law. The oaae was dismissed. Dan Howard, for overloading his cab, was fined Bs —For allowing horses to wander Charles Hrggie was fined 5s and William Fine 10s. T. Cooper, for leaving his vehicle unattended, fined 10s. A. J. Tudball, for tethering horses in a thoroughfare, fined £l, George Hcfford, for sleeping in his dray while travelling, fined £l. George Dornoy, for having horse at large, fined ss. John McQuia, for a similar offence, was fined ss.
