Consols are unchanged, at IOOj. The Bank rate is 5, and tho market rate 4 per cent. The Bank reserve amounts to £11,500,000, New Zealand securities are nnchanged. Colonial breadstwffs remain dull, at yesterday’s reduced prices. At to-day’s wool sale, 8900 bales were catalogued. Tho tone of tho sale was steady, but the demand was not active. A total of 30,560 bales has been withdrawn from the sale since the opening of the series.
